This is taken from the Clontarf side of Hayes Inlet with the Houghton, Hornibrook and the soon to be completed Ted Smout bridges visible.
The Federal Minister for the Environment, Peter Garrett will soon decide if a dam will proceed on the Mary River at Traveston Crossing.
This will be a large scale tragedy if this is allowed to proceed and the decision will be a landmark one in the political career of Peter Garrett.
